This piece depicts two elongated figures leaning into one another, their forms a testament to the power of connection amidst life’s challenges.
The stretched, slender shapes invite you to view the world from a different perspective. The height suggests a bird’s-eye point of view, offering a broader outlook on life. I created this sculpture a few weeks before proposing to my girlfriend—a time when I found myself stepping back to reflect on the bigger picture. The height of the figures embodies an aspirational, almost transcendent quality, lifting them beyond the ordinary and into a space of shared dreams.
