I paint expressive landscapes of the Self and the Spirit traversing the vast wilderness of our seen and unseen life.

With traditionally crafted Japanese ink for deepest blacks and luminescent tones of grey, and traditional Japanese paintbrushes, or layers of translucent and textured oil paint, I create emotionally moving and universally relatable scenes of The Hero’s Journey.

This recurring theme of The Hero’s Journey in my work, is a deeply meaningful exploration of the abundant archetypal and psychological stages we experience on our path of personal development and self-realization, which for many years has been my inspiration.
