 Kirsten Frost is a Cape Town–based South African photographer whose work celebrates the cultural heritage of remote communities across Africa and beyond. Founder of FROST Photo Tours, he leads high-end photography expeditions that provide intimate access to extraordinary cultural and wildlife experiences. Starting with a simple point-and-shoot camera, Kirsten’s early talent earned him national recognition and professional sponsorship by the age of sixteen.

His career has since taken him from magazine covers to remote destinations, with work published by National Geographic and accolades including Botswana Wildlife Photographer of the Year Today, Kirsten continues to create striking cultural portraits and to lead small-group and private tours to the world’s most remarkable photographic destinations — offering guests expert tuition and authentic connections with the people and places they photograph.
