Kim Black is an artist living and working in Kommetjie, Cape Town. She has a passion for colours and botanicals and loves to bring this to the viewer's attention through her large-scale artwork. Kim enjoys creative success through her many commissions for private clients and has work displayed in a few exhibitions each year. The Mount Nelson Hotel is home to one of its largest murals (10m) in its Oasis Room. Painting in acrylics and water-mixable oils, Kim enjoys the painterly freedom her work imparts to all who view it.
