'Red Hill'

When I moved to Cape Town, one of the first things that struck me was the stunning sight of Lion’s Head/Signal Hill with the little trees on top. I knew immediately that this would be the motive for my very first brush painting with a South African theme. I painted it many times since, sometimes only in black and grey shades, sometimes with a touch of color integrated. It’s my favourite motive ever since.
