'The Cape Town Waterfront'

During the Covid months of isolation, I decided to embark on this subject. It began with a trip to a completely deserted waterfront where I took 29 photographs. The people in the painting were obviously not there due to the lockdown, so I added them during painting. It proved to be a mammoth task which took nine months to complete each exacting detail, but time was in plentiful supply during that period.
