Yuzen Washi is a high quality Japanese paper, each sheet carefully dyed by artisans using traditional techniques.
Yuzen is a technique for creating patterns on fabric and is a typical Japanese dyeing method using stencils and partial dyeing. Patterns dyed with many colours are beautiful, dense and vibrant.
From a single large sheet of washi paper, subtle differences in design can be seen depending on where it is used for a card, giving it a unique handmade quality.
