Humankind holds responsibility as the designated custodians of nature.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIn the natural world we find so much beauty, and a place of solace. Working from a place of stillness, imbued in the work, I share this stillness with the viewer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eA painterly painter, my vocabulary of emotive mark making creates a unique visual language, the content ultimately in the brush mark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eDrawn to Tonalism and Chiaroscuro, the work takes on a life of its own, the composition emerging from the underpainting. The painting lets me know when it is finished.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e“A work of art which does not begin in emotion is not art.” -Paul Cezanne\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eWorking on multiple series concurrently, each series is ongoing, with an open timeline.
